When you register as a vendor, courier, or service professional, we also collect your business name, banking or e-Transfer details, portfolio images, and verification information necessary to approve and compensate your services.

We automatically collect certain data when you use our platform, including your device information, approximate location, browsing activity within the app, and order history, so we can personalize your shopping experience and process deliveries.

We use your information to process orders, arrange deliveries, coordinate service appointments, and send you confirmations and updates about your purchases and bookings.

For vendors and service providers, we use your details to verify your identity, manage payouts, calculate platform commissions, and connect you with customers requesting your services.

We may also use your information to provide customer support, prevent fraud, enforce our terms of service, and send important notices about policy changes or your account.

Gomart processes payments via Interac e-Transfer. We do not store your full banking credentials or card numbers on our servers.

Payment proof images you upload are stored securely and used only to verify your transaction before your order is confirmed and dispatched.

Vendor payouts are calculated after deducting the applicable platform commission (10% for product orders, 20% for hair styling bookings, and 10% for cleaning services) and are processed to the banking or e-Transfer details you provide.

To fulfill your orders, we share relevant details — such as your name, contact number, delivery address, and order contents — with the assigned vendor and courier.

Service professionals (stylists, cleaners, printers, and movers) receive the information necessary to complete your booking, including your address and any notes you provide.

We never sell your personal information to third parties. Sharing is limited to what is required to deliver the products and services you requested.

We implement industry-standard safeguards to protect your personal information, including encrypted storage, access controls, and secure authentication.

Access to your data is restricted to authorized personnel and trusted service providers who need it to operate the platform.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We send you order confirmations, delivery updates, and service-related notifications by email and through the app.

You may also receive promotional communications if you opt in. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time while still receiving essential account and order notices.

You may access, update, or correct your profile information at any time through your account settings.

You can request deletion of your account and associated data by submitting a deletion request through the app. We will process your request in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws.

You may decline to provide certain information, though this may limit your ability to use some features of the platform.
